The Science

“We can instinctively feel it. We relax when we are in nature. We feel stressed and tense when we are in the middle of a busy city, surrounded by artificial materials, light and sounds.”

“Imbalances, disorders and disease alter our body's bioenergetic communications network. Through the use of sound or vibrations, we can restore balance.”

Everything living vibrates at certain frequencies. This includes molecules, cells, tissues, and organs in our body, but also applies to parasites, bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms.

Sound and other energy frequencies are created by oscillations carrying through the air, which means our universe and our body are part of one enormous oscillations symphony. Sound is not just “sound” but vibrating energy.

Our body is a multidimensional, vibrational being and numerous, complex energetic interactions are continually taking place. These complex energetic interactions emit vibratory information that precisely specify the activities taking place within the body. This is measurable with modern equipment and we are connecting the dots using scientific methodologies. Recent, cutting-edge research shows that every part of the body - mental, physical, and emotional - form this continuous interconnected bioenergetic communication network.

This is the basic principle of using frequencies as a therapy. Every part of the body, each organ, bone, tissue, every cell and molecule vibrate with its own biological rhythm 1. When the rhythm of our bioenergetic communications network is disrupted, disharmony on a cellular level occurs which may result in disease. Therefore, frequencies from our surroundings have a great influence on our physical, mental and emotional state 2, 3, 4.

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Nikola Tesla (1856-1943)

We are constantly exposed to negative frequencies from our environment creating discord in the body, such as disharmonic frequencies from computers, cell phones, microwaves, Wi-Fi, processed food and contaminated water, but also from our negative emotions, such as fear, anger or stress. These affect our body negatively, interfering with the innate bioenergetic communications network which is our body. Such disharmonic frequencies may after a period of time result in serious imbalances and ultimately, disease.

Sound or vibrational healing stimulates the body’s complex bioenergetic communications network, and the body's restorative systems respond without the side-effects associated with the use of medication.

Cells which have very weak vibrations re-find their innate frequency and start to oscillate normally when placed in the field of multiple, natural, vibrations. This is called resonance.

“At MeloKura, we have focused on creating a unique combination of positive frequencies working synergistically to aide healing and recovery. Our goal is for the MeloKura sound streams to restore the body’s natural and harmonic frequencies.”

“So, where is the proof?”

We are often asked, “so where is the proof”? At MeloKura we understand how important it is to have evidence and we have therefore spent several years conducting a series of studies in collaboration with experts around the world to document the beneficial effects of MeloKura.

Easy Brain Center and Seoul National University in South Korea (2016)

This study showed that:
  • MeloKura has a positive effect on our autonomic nervous system, taking us from the sympathetic (“fight or flight”) state to the parasympathetic state (“rest and digest”). This increases our resilience

  • A single 40-minute MeloKura session increases the PSD (pulse standard deviation) by 33%, having a direct, positive impact on our immune system. to stress and disease resilience.

Aalborg University, Denmark (2018)

This study showed that:
  • MeloKura is a pain-free and non-invasive form of sound treatment without side-effects.

  • The AMG (acoustic myography) muscle function data support the EEG (electroencephalography) and HRV (heart rate variability) findings of the 2016 study in South Korea.

  • MeloKura could be of potential use for a number of conditions, addressing stress and anxiety related tensions, aiding recovery from injuries and may also help alleviate symptoms experienced with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Fibromyalgia and Parkinson´s Disease.

  • MeloKura appears to have its principal effect through central rather than peripheral regulation of muscle function.

  • As a comparison, ordinary relaxing music had no proven effect on these same parameters.

Center for Deuterium Depletion, Los Angeles, USA (2019)

This study showed that:
  • An increase in healthful sleep time – the participants reported waking up feeling more rested.

  • An increase in the REM and deep sleep cycles.

  • A decrease in awake events and total awake time during the night.

  • The ability to enjoy family and friends better and improved overall quality of life!

“Frequency IS the future of healing!”

Using sound healing frequencies is often dismissed as “new age spirituality”, but nothing could be further from the truth. We have used frequencies to balance and heal since the beginning of time and there are innumerable ancient texts referring to the use of frequencies to restore the body and mind.

The use of frequencies can help release energetic blockages and restore equilibrium in the body. Modern science is now catching up on this ancient healing modality and there is an abundance of research being done in this exciting field.

Everything, including our emotions, has its own optimum rate of vibration which we call resonance. Recognising that every organ, tissue and cell, absorbs and emits sound, we understand how specific sounds and frequencies can be used as powerful healing tools. This is how the ancient Solfeggio frequencies work and the reason for the Gregorian monks using this specific scale for chanting and healing. These tones resonate to the frequencies that our original blueprint is composed from.

“MeloKura’s Secret Sauce”

MeloKura’s sound streams are unique in that they combine frequencies that change the bioelectrical brain wave activity or frequencies (these brain wave frequencies are in a range from 0.1 Hz to 44 Hz) with certain frequencies specifically chosen to address different bodily functions, helping restore equilibrium in the body. The frequencies that stimulate the brain wave activity work as “activators”, making the body more receptive to the restorative bodily frequencies being delivered, thus adopting a two-pronged approach to delivering the beneficial frequencies to the user.

Brain Wave Frequencies

Our brain pulsates and produces electromagnetic frequencies that can be measured. There are specific frequencies that influence our brain waves, which vibrate within a band ranging from 0.1 Hz to 44 Hz. These are often referred to as brain wave states and are broken into five different categories named after letters in the Greek alphabet: Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta and Gamma.

Bodily Frequencies

Solfeggio and other Frequencies that restore balance in the Body and Mind

Guido D’Arezzo, a Benedictine monk in the 11th century, introduced a scale known as the “Just Intonation” or the Solfeggio Scale, although it is believed that these sounds date back to ancient times. The scale features in Christian scripture and the syllables for the scale came from a hymn to John the Baptist. The tones have also been used in ancient Sanskrit chants.

After the 14th century, these tones disappeared from music, mainly due to new musical technologies and novel ways of tuning instruments.

Dr Joseph Puleo, a leading American herbalist, claimed to have rediscovered these ancient tones in the 1970s.

He related the tones to ancient scripture stating that these tones were mathematically in tune with the universe, possessing special healing powers.

In 1988, Biochemist Glen Rein, PhD, converted and recorded Solfeggio scale Gregorian chants into scalar audio waves. The results were played to test tubes containing DNA. By measuring UV light absorption, Rein could document the effect of the music on DNA. He also compared the chants with other forms of music, including rock. While rock music had little or no influence, the chants caused an up to nine percent increase of light absorption, leading Rein to conclude that Solfeggio scale sound frequencies cause resonance in DNA and may have healing properties. 12
